This Process of activating DND service is same for all operators

Activation Through SMS Process

• Fully Blocked Category -
  • Send SMS at "START" 0 to 1909

You got a instant rply through SMS

• DND service had been activated within 7 working days, Your registeration no. S17xxxxx..
  Please allow 7 days to proceed thsi service

After 7 days you got a confirmation message regarding DND services has been processed

• Partial Blocked Category -
  • Send SMS at START 1 to 1909 to (Insurance-Financial Product)
  • Send SMS at START 2 to 1909 to (Block Real Estate)
  • Send SMS at START 3 to 1909 to (Education / Colleage Advt)
  • Send SMS at START 4 to 1909 to (Health)
  • Send SMS at START 5 to 1909 to (Consumer Goods & Automobile)
  • Send SMS at START 6 to 1909 to (Broadcasting,Entertainment,Communication)
  • Send SMS at START 7 to 1909 to (Tourism)

Deactivation Through SMS

• Send SMS at "STOP" to 1909

You got a instant rply through SMS that your services has been deactivating within 2-3 working days

Activation Through Calling Process

Call to 1909 (Tollfree) Select language - Press 1- Hindi
Press 2- English

Press To Registered for DND For Partial DND To know your DND Status To Change your DND language	Press To know about do not disturb service To block or change your do not disturb service. To unblock or change your do not disturb preferences. To register a complaint for do not disturb service

Choose your prefrence option, then after disconnected your call. You got a confrmation SMS
with according to your service request.

Procedure of making a Complaint-

• For registering the complaint through SMS, the subscriber should
  forward the SMS to 1909 in the following format: 
  • The UCC, XXXXXXXXX, dd/mm/yy where XXXXXXXXXX is
    the telephone number or header of the UCC.

• Click on DND Registeration
  • Activate/
  • Subscribe
• Enter your details
  • Name
  • Email Id
  • Operator number
• Select full DND
  • Yes
  • No
• Fill Captcha
• Submit

After submit you get a SMS on the screen, Thank you

• Your request for DND service has been registered and will be acted upon shortly.

Remember with DND - Registration

• NCPR(National Customer Preference Register) cannot Block
  • Bank sms alerts,Bank communication,Online booking,Third party,Personal calling etc
• It takes miminum 7 days to process your request to stop the unwanted messages
