Remote control issues

I am attached with you since 4 years and happy with your services and set of channels I am getting. But today I had to raise this issue on this platform. 3 months back, I was facing issue with original remote control..it stopped sensing the D2H. we were told that it will cost 250 for changing the remote control and some additional cost if there is a physical damage. When the Videocon engineer visited and checked...he found there was no physical damage so he charged the minimum applicable cost. Now again we started facing this issue from last two days, the second remote control also has the same issue and it is giving us the same old issue. Now again Videocon customer care suggested me to get the remote control replaced by paying 250/-. My question is why there is no warranty of remote control and why customer should bear the same cost again if the issue has reoccured within 3 months. There should be a fixed timeline that customer will not have to pay the cost if it is giving issue within 6 months or 1 year...unless there is a physical damage. Is there any guarantee that this time I will pay the amount and it will not give me any issue within 2 days?

Our Videocon d2h (ID: 22832723) was recharged on 3/12/2012 with Rs 200/ for 30 days. This morning (21/12/2012 - exactly 17 days usage, 13 days still balance left) it flashes your pet message: Error: 16-4 Insufficient balance ....

This happens often, many times earlier and my boys simply do a fresh recharge. But, do you agree that this is your routine practice - "Pay for 30 days and get service for 15 days". The posts above speaks volumes about this, unless you can prove otherwise.

Do you think you can look into it and set right in one day?

Thanks to your site which speaks a good deal about service{? } of Vidcon. It is most regretful their idea of making customer to know the terms and cnditions by printing in micro mini letters is totally unethical. This shouldbe checked by GOI Grahak Jagruti and be treated as restrictive practice. A law be enacted that this should never be smaller than the news print in the papers. Let Videcon do this before selling as the customers are not happy.

unilterally depositing the payment in other scheme.

my customer id is 52044026. I had purchased D2H of Videocon on 3-9-11.which was activated on5-9-11
so for the first 2 months free scheme was running upto 4-11-11.
As per their advertisement 11months payment would be given2 months free scheme,I paid 1815(rs150+tax for 11 months)
on 19-10-11.(i.e before expiry of their actvating offer.)
When I called to their customer care about this, their customer care man was politely rude.
He reluctantly denied to understand the situation and said my money is deposited to other scheme which is running at present.
I said you can change it into scheme of Rs.150+tax on which I have calculated & paid for 11 months.
But he was not ready to listen.

So I wrote to customer care of videocon D2H.
They agreed to my changing scheme of rs.150+tax.
vide their mail dtd.24 october.
but again in their mail 3-11-11 they have calculated my next recharge as per Rs 260+ tax scheme.(27 july2012 )
they are doing it unilaterally at their end.

Please add Peace TV channel in your videocon d2h,It is absolutely free channel.

Free to air channels

All the Free to Air channels which are supposed to view should be started in VD2H, since we get all the FTA channels in Dishtv, Tata sky, big tv, Airtel and also the free FM channels and the same are not yet in VD2H. So please look into this issue at the earliest..

extreamly poor service of videocon

videocon is a bullshit company regarding its services. i request others not to buy its products. i have an airconditioning system from videocon and its compressor is still under warranty period and due to fault in it i complained 23 days back and even i paid Rs.2100 but still my a.c. have the same problem. worst company in the world videocon. and entire staff from service centre creating problem for me. they are good for nothing its engineers evry tell me on phone that we will come today but i dont know when the day will come. and whenever i call to service centre they asure me we will get it done but unable to tell me when.

Installation Date : 22nd May 2011, Next Recharge Date Is August 1st 2011

Videcon being such a Brand company , I had taken connection .However To my great disappointment ,D2h Service along with Customer care service is pathetic.
My D2h services are deactivated since 6th July due to an incorrect crediting from your end, where as my next Recharge date is Aug 1st .
In this situation ,Even after repeated complaints lodging Videcon is not providing services as promised .The complaint ID 46566769 was closed by Videocon-D2h without checking with the me/customer and also this was not informed to me ,which is highly unprofessional.On following up ,a new complaint was raised on 8th july 46847906 and is again not yet resolved . Today on following up with the same videocon Customer Care - I get a very unethical behavior from the customer care which forces me to think of canceling this connection.
I am highly disappointed with the way your customer care executives takes care of the issues lodged.The executive Mr.Sachin from Bangalore refused to provide any assistance moreover is impolite while attending customers. There after I was put on phone with Shiva - Supervisor again gave me another 24 hrs time to wait and see if the services are resumed, but he also doesn't have a proper resumption date or time.As this is going on in an indefinite manner I wanted to lodge a complaint.
I would like to emphasis that I am asking service with recharge amount / fee paid in advance and not any free service I deserved to be treated with respect and good service . IF this is the Service you provide , I would definitely discourage any of my friends /colleagues to take up Videocon connection.

For Complaint Regarding unwanted calls and sms from Videocon D2H

Dear Sir

I am very Regretfully informing you that i am continuously receiving calls and sms from Videocon D2h on my number 9999274054 by specifying that i have taken your connection by the name of Ravender singh having customer id 21228897.
I am continuously telling your executives from the last 6months that my name isnot Ravender Singh and i havenot taken any connection from Videocon D2H. Its being really unfortunate that i am having such a messed up experience with a reputed company like Videocon.
You are here by expected to please do the needful.
