The same problem is with me.

The same problem is with me. I tried registering a new account but I didn't receive any verification code on my mobile number. I tried to register with other mobiles in my home but the same problem persisted and I couldn't create an account. By and by all the mobiles in my home got registered on the IRCTC site. And now whenever I try to register with any number it shows "Mobile number entered is already registered. " Is there any procedure to get my mobile number unregistered form the site so that I can get an IRCTC account.

I am writing this email just to check for the status of the refund of the ticket that I canceled on the IRCTC website on 16th of November 2011. URGENT-IRCTC deducted my money-no tkt booked

When i was booking a railway ticket from New Delhi to Mumbai today for 19-Feb-2012 .My transaction was unsuccessful.. but during this my money 3010/- has been deducted from my Credit card and ticket is not generated. Either you mail the ticket or refund the money.

This is a classic case of highhandedness, public harassment.
Inefficiency and total apathy to a genuine customer claim.. Leading to
a total dissatisfaction in IRCTC!
Please explain to me one thing in my ticket covering 6 persons, only
one (A.subbarao) had reservation and travelled. The other 5 passengers
had waiting list so reservation not conformed.
Only one person travelled (A. subba rao) balance could not travel
because there was no reservation from Indian railways. Now on what
basis you are refusing refund for the 5 unused tickets????
I had asked the TTE on the train to give a written acknowledgement of
5 passengers not travelling. He refused to do because the passenger
names are not listed in his chart. So He said he has made the report
of not travelling on his chart which he will submit to railway and
will be proof of not traveling.
Now how are you refusing to pay a claim for this genuine refund???

I have booked four tickets from Pune to Chennai through online, Date of Journey:23-07-2011. Out of 4 tickets only two tickets got confirmed and remaining two ticket has not been confirmed (WaitingList). So we have tried to cancel the Waiting List tickets but it was not allowed (as chart was prepared on originating/previous remote location). I have filed TDR Claim also. IRCTC Replied a letter about, for verification purpose proof of TTR signed tickets and some kind of proof also. But while travelling, After informing TTR about the travelling of two passengers (ie confirmed tickets).For the verification, TTR has not signed in our e-ticket copy. To my knowledge TTR has signed in the original chart sheet. I don’t have any other valid proof of signed tickets. On 7 nov 2011 i booked my reservation through irctc site. i made the payment by SBI ATM card twice but the money has been deducted on both occasions but reservation has made for only once(for this transaction ID : 0413358637).
For transaction ID : 0413342295 there was no ticket generated but amount has been deducted from my atm card.
Money that has been deducted from my SBI account for transaction id : 0413342295 is 556/-.

In one transaction ticket has been generate and in another no ticket was generated if it was not recieved then why money was deducted from my account.

IRCTC: Tale of monopoly with incompetence

IRCTC clearly has sizing issues. The servers are always overloaded, with requests getting timed out many times. And to make matters worse, I cannot even refresh the page!
I am very much doubtful IRCTC management has ever looked at the statistics of transaction failures (provided their technical illiteracy allows them to make any sense of it). If they have, I am amazed at their shamelessness. I can overlook that it took me ages to log in and reach the payment page. The system's flawed design is clearly revealed when it cannot handle the payment response from payment gateway, which should have been given the highest priority. Fare refund is NOT a solution for there is an additional booking amount that most banks charge for booking tickets and that amount is NOT refunded.

With the use of internet based ticketing on the rise, the problems are only going to get uglier.
For now, after losing my money to the payment gateway, I am going to a travelling agent to get the job done. Thanks for nothing IRCTC.

ticket not receivet after making payment

i have booked ticket for 2 persons on 24.10.2011 1) vinod.a. m 38 and 2) sunil keswani m 41 from chennai to hyderabad
by train no 12603 for travel date 5.12.2011. after making payment, page on internet did not open for long time
so i checked account of my hdfcbank by internet from which direct debit payment was made. the amount was debited.
but now after 1 hour still the website shows 2 seats available as it showed previously. it means payment has been made and tickets have not been booked, kindly inform what has really happened , please message to my mobile PNR no 9842708890 and also mail to me at vinod2k_2000 [at] yahoo [dot] com my e-ticket.

Ticket booked through internet banking but no ticket received

A ticket was booked through SBI internet banking today (19/10/2011) for two persons i.e Dr H Hevito Shohe & Simon Sumi age 48 & 35 years respectively at train No 15606 GHY intercity to be boarded on 20/10/2011 from DMV.In this connection,due communication problem,the ticket was not issued nor the PNR No. could be retrived,although the money is being deducted from my SBI account No.10284311291.This ticket may kindly be cancelled and the money return to my account,since I have already booked another ticket for the same journey,and that I do not know the PNR NO to cancel the same.

didnt receive the ticket

I have booked e-ticket on 19th,october,2011, I did not get my ticket, but the amount was deducted
through SBI payment gateway,i got an error message as ,
