The most pathetic services I've recieved ever from airtel. And i have made the a mistake to use airtel app to recharge my account. Firstly the app gives me an error at the payment page And then when I recharged for the second time both the transactions went through. And you dont take ownership for it. Lol! Why will I buy a pack for 82 days twice in a span of 30 mins?? And when I call to customer service they tell we dont refund but can extend your validity. Man i want my money back! Not extended validity. After this incident I want to port out asap but Im stuck with you guys with this double validity of my package. And the worst is that the customer support is not helpful. And you dont refund or have option to transfer the additional validity on a seperate num! As a customer what I am supposed to do or go to??
Also customer service tells to send screenshot of error and send. Where the hell on your app or website it is mentioned to click screenshot if error faced so i would have done it.
Only after the damage have been made I am suggested to click screenshot? Who and when are the customers adviced to do this initially?
Also nowhere on the website it is mentioned about it.
I spoke to sandeep dhule the floor supervisor in customer support who was not helpful, very rude and he was interrupting while I was speaking.He was very arrogant and honestly doesnt deserve to be a supervisor or honestly his way of communication is simply not for customer service.

I am Airtel customer form past 10 years and i was so satisfied with airtel services that i kept using my number on roaming and port it from Airtel Punjab to Airtel Delhi NCR. i didnt even opt for Reliance Jio when it was giving up a lot of discount. but now I think it is time to change the network.
I recently shifted to (La Residentia GH-06 A, Tech Zone - IV, Greater Noida (West), Uttar Pradesh 201306 ). There is literally No service when i took a turn from main road. I tried to complain it to Airtel executives on 12118, but they are simply running away from my issue. and closing my complaint as nothing can be done for that.
In whole locality No one uses Airtel, so u have never heard any network issue from there. either solve this issue or just reply me that this issue can not be resolved so that i can switch to other network.

Hello, I did call regarding the money deduction now and was told I had activated some supermodel activation. No activation was done from our end. And the tech support was not sure what this service was. They just want to cut the call. They easily give information to Port. My question to Airtel is that
1. Is this your customer service ?? Seriously ???
2. Do you pay these tech support people or not ?? Because they are frustrated and angry. Seems like work done forcefully and not as you have to do it. They should be temporary people you have so they just don't care. Or your managers really bad that they can't handle the agents.
You guys are for the customers and with competition, you should get better. But you guys go back to being worst.

issue with postpaid to prepaid
Hi All ,
i was relocated to Channasandra in Bangalore Whitefield. last august 2017
I planned to convert my postpaid number to prepaid
, for that i reached the Channasandra(560067) airtel store person . After a long struggle for 4 months finally i got a sim on 6th April 2018.
i got a verification call from airtel customer support on 11th April stating that the number will be converted to prepaid within 2-3 hours and i have to dial 59059
As said the postpaid number got de-activated and nothing happened . prepaid sim was too de-activated without tower in it
restarted the device and tried , no go.
contacted airtel support team from morning 5am today , postpaid team says, number moved to prepaid support.
prepaid team says they don't see any records for my number and i was again informed to go airtel store to check the issue. kindly advise.
Also I raised a complaint that there is no signal in my flat(my apart has 290 flats which is surrounded by some 400 flats)its been an year and they say one word as"ticket still in progress".

Namaste! As per Govt directive, your Airtel mobile services will be stopped on 18-Mar-18 as your Visa will expire. For continued services pls submit extended visa at any airtel center.
I visited Airtel at Cunningham road Bangalore on 9-Mar-2018. The rep got an OTP & showed me on a computer screen that no verification is required of US citizens. My US passport and Multiple entry Indian Visa expires on 19/12/2027. I have prepaid services for 28 days.
Kindly train your Cunningham Road Bangalore reps to get this problem fixed immediately.
Incorrect plan activation & incorrect billing
This is Fayyaz Nakhawa using an Airtel number - 97250XXX.
As I wanted to travel to Tehran in mth o Dec, was looking for an International roaming pack . Airtel had activated a 2999/- pack but this did not have the desired country. I was assured by the backend team in case of no service area I will not be able to use it there but were ever connectivity is available there should not be a problem. Now after 3 mths i get a bill of 30k and i am being told that there is no service available at all what kind of service is this. Airtel has duped me, completely misguided, false promises made and now due to their blunder why do I suffer this is certainly not at all acceptable. I have been chasing around to get a resolution but no luck at all.
All the time different story and false promises, this is leading no where. I am facing business loss, harassed n tortured constantly for payments. Unable to get a resolution, all Airtel is interested is that i should pay for their mistake.
I strongly oppose this and want an immediate resolution and complete wavier for wrong charges placed.
Signal problem in my Area
We have four Airtel connections in our house. However for the last many months there is a great problem in receiving or making calls as the Airtel signal is not up to the mark.
Everybody complains that they are unable to call us and we gave the same problem in making calls.
This problem in there even when it is showing full tower for Airtel.
Please can somebody advise me what to do?
For us porting out of Airtel seems to be the only option.

Besides the network is awesome too; the only drawback being that the phone needs to be a 4G phone and natively VOLTE supporting to make calls unless one is comfortable using the Jio voice app

After 8 may airtel representative call me and she is asked me sir I can shifted your no. but I am not give u 6 month advance plan I can give u 999 per month rental plan for this area. False balance deduction
I gifted a net pack of Rs.98 from my airtel Bihar number to Airtel Rajasthan number on 26/04/13 about 12:30am But it was not gifted and there was a deduction of Rs.98 from my number. I also complained about this almost 10 times. I live outside India for last 12 years. I got a call from an mobile no. in INDIA +91 98 10 564145. First i could not understand at all what they were trying to say. Waiver of 2 & half month rental as the connection was not workin
I am using Airtel Broadband with Landline for last 1.6 Yrs now in Mumbai, and also have 6 other Airtel Postpaid Mobile/Broadband connections in my family.
For last 2 & half months my landline was not working, for which i had called customer care department twice in Aug for complaint, but due to their system not working at that time my complaint was not taken then. I had requested the customer support executive to plz update the complaint once their system is up for which they replied they will do it.
I called them again on 12th Sept 2012 asking them for the status of fixing the issue, for which their executive replied that they don't have such complaint in their system & they will take the complaint then & surprisingly i got the message with the complaint no. on 12th Sept 2012. I did a lot of follow up with their customer support team as well as with the escalation managers Jasbeer Kaur & Sushil Kumar for fixing this issue ASAP.
12th Oct 2012, my landline as well as my internet connection got fixed & their technician also came and checked.
All these months i have been paying the rent inspite of my connection not working. This month i did not pay the rent as i got bugged cauz the connection wuz not working for last 2 & half months now. When i called their customer care department & spoke to their escalation manager Mr. Sushil Kumar for waiving of the 2 & half month rent as it wuz not working, Mr Sushil replied that he can only give me waiver from 12th Sept till 12th Oct 2012 & not before that as their is no complaint registered for the same before that, inspite of me calling twice & their systems were down or slow.
This is very disappointing, I am using Airtel connections (have 6 Connections) for last 15 years now, & this is the kind of response i get from them.

Oct 15 - update - Got call from Mr. Rahul again - he has again taken down my complaint for the waiver & gave me a new complaint no.23397090.... expected resolution date & revert from them will be by 19th Oct 2012...
Oct 19 - i have called the airtel customer care again today to find out the resolution for the complaint no. 23397090 & to my surprise they have closed the complaint w/o even giving the resolution for the same... this was wiered.... wat should i call your company now... Airtel is fraud & cheat their customers
Oct 25 - Called twice on 02240030143 to speak to Mr. Shantanu for the resolution which was supposed to be done by 23rd oct 2012 but could not connect to him on first call, called again second time & luckily got connected to him directly..... but no resolution to waive off my 2 & half months rental for service not working. Mr. Shantanu asked me to send this mail on appellate [dot] abc [at] in [dot] airtel [dot] com & wait for the resolution with in 24hrs.
This is the last time i am trying for positive resolution from Airtel, if this time i don't get a positive resolution from Airtel... i will make sure that i post this on every social platforms & let others know about the airtel service, also file a case in consumer court for the kind of customer service i have received from Airtel & kind of harassment which i have been facing for last 2 & half months & would definitely ask for compensation for the same.

Since I was in the urgent need of the phone at that time, tried calling Airtel customer service for atleast a temp fix and they assured me that you need to deposit the documents again to the dealer and your number will be activated. When I went to dealer, they tried but of no vain and said that number will be activated on Tuesday. Without any intimation, how can Airtel disconnect my number??
I kept on trying for complete Saturday looking for different people in Airtel. Finally got hold of the Distributor in Chandigarh who is a gem of a person. He kept me updated about the exact status and the reason why number was barred (dealer did not submitted the documents). Finally, he took all the pains and got my number activated over the weekend to which I am really thankful.
Today, I received a call from Appelate officer ( Number- 8130259988). She being at a higher position did not have the courtesy to ask what was the issue ( Shame on that ). She just mentioned that your number seems to be working fine and it was never disconnected from there end. I just ask her, do you actually know what I have gone through since Friday and how much effort I have to put in to get this number activated for which she was least bothered as she was in a hurry to complete the call. I repeated Myself thrice but of no vain. Finally, she just said it seems your issue is resolved and I am disconnecting the call which is ridiculous and frustrating.
How can Airtel have such Appelate officers???? I have simple lost trust in Airtel. Never going to recommend this to anyone. Horrible and Pathetic service!!!

Hi there,
I was looking for Airtel Phone-Broadband connection. So i have contacted Airtel directly. Before the time Airtel get back to me, Mr Ravi visited my home from my local area Airtel Office in Ahmedabad. Ravi visited my nearby area and confirmed to me that Service is NOT available at your place. I said fine. That was the end of it.
But then some one called Vijay Raj Shah visited my place again telling me that i come directly from Airtel and i have been told to visit you. I said okay thats fine, come. He mentioned that Mr Ravi who visited you earlier was a real junior person and he doesnt know where our services are available. Vijay Raj mentioned to me that I can get you a connection at your place very easy. Then he demanded for Rs. 3085 and i offered him the money as he mentioned to me that i come directly from Airtel and he shawn me his card etc.
He gave me a receipt of Airtel which has the CEF No as AHM444003. His name is Vijay Raj shah and his code is DSAAMDRBS and his cellphone number is 9898900374. The connection date on the receipt is 24 Aug 2012 which is well passed.
I started giving a call to Vijay Raj as there was no activity happening around my place for connection till 24 Aug 2012. He kept on mentioning to me all the way through that i will get the connection done in 1 day, tomorrow, in few hours etc. But he never actually turned up to my place to give me a confidence that connection will happen one day. So i have asked him for the refund and now since last 10 days he keeps on giving me false promised that i will give you a refund today, tomorrow, tonight, today afternoon i will surely be at your place but he has not turned up yet.
Last time when he spoke to me he said i will surely come to you tomorrow morning 11 but i said nope, dont come tomorrow if you dont want to pay me tonight as i have wasted enough of my time because of you. I have got no choice but to complaint about you.
So here i am officially complaining about your employee Vijay Raj Shah. I need strict actions taken against him and plus i need some sort of compensastion back for wasting my time plus and money behind the calls i had to make him almost 2 times a day. Luckily i have got EACH of the conversations with Vijay Raj recorded on my phone and i am looking to release it to Grahak Suraksha Samiti or any media agency if the matter is not dealt with on urgent basis. In EACH conversation, you will find false promises about getting me a connection or giving me a refund.
A quick action on the matter is greatly appreciated.

Idea no ported to airtel, recharge is not possible
I had an idea number in delhi which i ported to airtel while i was in delhi. i then moved to mumbai and my no got changed overnight in mumbai. now, d very next day i.e. today, i am not able to recharge my phone on airtel and cant even see my number on airtel website when i put my number there to recharge. my number is 9911539317.
please solve my issue asap as i m not in delhi and i have very urgent calls coming on my number.
even the customer care is not reachable on this issue.

Airtel Prepaid Sim Card Registration failed
I have taken a new Airtel Prepaid Connection (9831200873) on 11th August 2012 from Kolkata. Now today (28.10.2012) i woke up and found "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED" on my mobile. I tried calling from another mobile it says "THIS NO DOSENT EXISTS". I called up customer care thay said " THIS NUMBER HAS NOT BEEN USED FOR LAST 6 MONTHS HENCE THIS NUMBER HAS BEEN BLOCKED, YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE A NEW CONNECTION". I fail to understand what is my fault. I have even recharged for Rs 200 on 12th August 2012.
Pls look into the matter and resolve ASAP. It's affecting my business a lot.

I am so glad to inform you that I am holding India’s worst mobile service provider, as a loyal customer from past 3-4 years, and faced several issues till date, however I’m just holding up this connection only for the so called network apart from that there is nothing great about Airtel.
I really wonder how Airtel is recruiting their customer care executives, who don’t have basic call taking etiquettes.
I’m writing this email to let you know about my frustration after contacting the customer care for several times.
I feel cheated, I’ve not used my phone for past two days for Making calls & sms, and however to my utter amazement I found almost Rs 60 /- has been debited from my account balance without my knowledge.
Therefore when I called up the customer care for the first two times I spoke to Mr. Shiva - This person couldn’t even speak English and finally when he understood my concern after asking several questions, he was unable to provide proper justification as he couldn’t resolve my issue and hung-up the call on my face.
It might be his bad luck when I called the next time he was the one who picked up the call and soon he realized it’s the same customer whom he couldn’t handle so he played the same cheap trick again(hung up the call).
Perhaps, I was so frustrated I called again to resolve the issue. This time I spoke to Sundeep. After speaking with him for 11 minutes he transferred the call to the supervisor who is not in office to pick up the call. Hence I was holding the line expecting someone to pick up the call and hear to my grievance, and soon I realize I was fooled again.
This time I was totally determined to fix this issue forever, I came across Mr. Raj kumar who acted as if he was polite and trying to show off that he will listen to me but as usual he played the same cheap trick as all the Airtel customer care executives do, by disconnecting the call(looks like Airtel has picked up a new fashion).
What can be worst than trying again calling Airtel CC which doesn’t easily get connected and if connected none of them have sense of understanding the customer situation and people sitting there doesn’t have capabilities to understand the concern. Please hire only educated employees who can understand and respond promptly to the customers concerns.
Therefore I would request you try calling your customer care to know how pathetic they respond to your concerns/issues.
Going forward I will ensure that I will never promote Airtel to any of my friends/relatives.
I hope at-least someone would feel responsible and reply to my email, it’s not about money but it is about breach of trust and cheating by debiting the funds from the customer without his/her concern.
Failing reply to this email I would send a register post to TRAI and CONSUMER Court filing a case of cheating / fraud and requesting them to cancel the license registration of Airtel.

Airtel has not refunded my money
i had asked airtel for a new broadband connection and they sent one of their staff, the guy made us fill the form and he took the money and only the next day did they call and tell us that the network is not available in my area. So according to their terms and conditions they are supposed to refund the money in 21 working days, but its been 3 months now i've made atleast 15 complains and even spoke to the managers but all they keep saying is that they will send it in a two days or three days. Finally i've started calling the guy who came and gave the connection his name is Govid, this guy keeps saying that he will give the money today or he is on the way but he still has not come with our refund. The customer service is horrible with airtel and they have tried my patience to the fullest i will be taking this to the police station and then the consumer court. Very unprofessional kind of employees at Chennai.

Everybody knows that Mobile number portability is now available all over India.
My name is Narsingh residence at Noida(NCR) I am currently using Tata Indicom Prepaid no:- 9213588479.
Now, I want to take service from Airtel. I requested regarding port number by sending SMS to 1900 on 12th July’2012. which is valid to 27th July’ 2012 day as per rule. I got port number TD458476.
After receiving port number, I went to Airtel office in Noida Sec-12 near Metro Hospital & submitted my all required id proof with my latest passport photo to Airtel office.
The Airtel has processed application on 14th July’2012 and on 16th July’12. I got message that “The application has been received ,We are processing your request to port your number from 1901.” When I called Airtel Customer care they informed to wait at least for 5 to 7 days.
The problem started from 16 July 2012, as both side customer care & and airtel office not working proper,When I contacted airtel, the customer care supervisor told me it will take another 24 hrs for it to get completely ported and to resume services on my number. But in the website of airtel says there will only be a 2hr for activate service period.
Then i called again on 20 July 2012 at 6:00am to customer care These guys told me your documents not received yet. We are not able to activate your number while I already Submitted my all document to Airtel office in noida sector-12, If your airtel office not submitted my documents then its not my fault because i already submitted ,Now Airtel office has to submitted my document, I don’t want to to anywhere because i was frosted .
However i contacted to Airtel office the misguiding me say he submitted to documents,

I have faced some issued in M N P due to which I called up your customer care at 121 on 18 Feb 2012 at approx 1:10:00 A.M.At the first time one of the customer care executive Mr.Rahul Kumar kumar picked my call.when I asked him about MNP He told me that "He is transferring my call to Senior Officer". He muted my call and kept the phone away.I kept on waiting for few minutes,I tried to talk them but no buddy was responding and call was on mute.Then I disconnected the call.
Again I called up 121, at that time Mr.Mukesh Kumar picked the call.I asked him that I want to know that on which date my number was got converted to prepaid,and another query was about MNP . He refused to help me and told me that "Soory Sir, I can;t give you this information,you have to visit the Airtel center". When I asked him that "If you people can't give me my information then why you people are sitting on customer care and for which service you are charging 0.50 p for 3 minutes.He disconnected the call.

I want to know the reason behind this if Airtel is charging form us to talk to the customer care then why they people don't give us the information required and do the misbehave like keeping call on Mute and Putting down the call.This seems like a crap on Airtel customer service,if this kind of behavior you people are doing with the customer then it is not good.

If you will not take any action I will start floating this mail to every where and even not hesitate to go to TRAI and Consumer Forum for the harassment.Request you to take some serious action against this asap.
But on the other hand there is Very Good Guy in your Customer Care named Vikas Mishra,he picked my call on 3rd time at around 01:25:00 A.M.He handled my question very well and given the required information. I am very thankful to him.

No Incoming and outgoing calls
Hi,
This is to inform you that with effective from 12th Oct' 2011, 12 noon there is no incoming or outgoing calls from my Airtel prepaid West Bengal number 8967078670.
All outgoing calls made to any other number are getting redirected and connected to 198 and after the end of the call charges are getting deducted. Around Rs 50 - 60 has been deducted for this.
In spite of making several complaints to the customer care, no response or action was found.
Kindly look into the matter and do the needful ASAP.

I'm very saddened to see such a poor response from Airtel for a new connection. The marketing personal even told me to withdraw the connection as he's fed up with my case. I have no pleasure whatsoever in writing this mail to you as I am really not happy with the services provided by your organization. I am having four connections from Airtel and I think looking at the services provided, it time to move on.
Problem Statement:
For the landline connection which I have, I had asked to shift to my new address where I have shifted last week. The complaint number for the same is : 3453528.
The complaint was logged on 3rd September, and Airtel promised to revert back by Monday 5th September. I had requested to resolve this on priority as my mom is alone at home, keeping unwell and she prefers landline to Mobile.
Every day I have been making calls to get the line transferred and till now, not even one single call has been made to me or any engineer has made a visit to our new address. I have even given the Junction Box number installed in out building to expedite the same.
Looking at this service , I have no option but to write to you and look upto some senior level escalation for the same to be resolved. I am sick and tired of following up on mail and phone for the past 6 days without any resolution. Pls don’t push customers to the level where they feel neglected and time to move ahead from this pathetic service.
